SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – Sheboygan’s City Forester Tim Bull is advising people that removal of dying ash trees on a section of Erie Avenue will require closing the road for a time on Wednesday. The operation involves Erie between Taylor Drive and North 29th Street from 9 AM until about 2:30 PM.
The effort is part of an ongoing Urban Forestry management plan in response to the infestation by the emerald ash borer, a beetle that usually kills the host tree within a few years.
