The Sheboygan Police Department says the neighborhoods near Veteran’s Park at 24th and Union Avenue on Sheboygan’s South side have experienced several garage burglaries over the past month and a half.
Police say unknown suspects are forcing entry into the garages and stealing gas containers. Officers are asking that residents increase lighting in low-lit areas, like alleys and around garages and sheds, and report any suspicious activity to the Police.
The SPD said that they’re continuing to collect and review evidence, and will be adding patrols to the area.
