On Saturday, noted Wisconsin author and apple expert, Dan Bussey, will share the history and origins of Wisconsin’s apples, offering a look at the fruit’s place in the state’s agricultural heritage. Visitors can also explore the Wesley W. Jung Carriage Museum, home to the state’s largest collection of historic carriages; take a horse-drawn wagon ride through the Kettle Moraine in fall colors, and tour the original 27-room Wade House stagecoach inn. Complimentary hot apple cider will be served throughout the weekend.
