Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Dept
A high-speed pursuit by Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies resulted in the arrest of the subject of a warrant issued due to numerous charges related to cocaine production and delivery.
The incident began shortly after 1 AM Friday when a deputy conducting a traffic stop on I-41 about 5 miles south of Fond du Lac recognized the driver as the subject of the warrant and called for extra deputies. When the subject was asked to exit her vehicle, she fled northbound on I-41, eventually crossing tire deflation devices that forced her to stop near Lost Arrow Road.
A foot chase ensued for a short time and the driver was arrested, and booked into the Fond du Lac County Jail on charges of Fleeing and Eluding, 2nd Degree recklessly endangering Safety, Resisting and Obstructing an Officer, Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, and two counts of Felony Bail Jumping. A passenger in the vehicle cooperated and was released. The ensuing investigation closed I-41 for about 2 hours.
