| Kristine “Kris” Lynette Slaughter, 60, passed away peacefully on September 16th, 2026, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Kris was born in Harare, Zimbabwe to missionaries Stew and Marlene Georgia.
Kris was a devoted mother to her three children, instilling in them a love for learning through homeschooling and advocating for their interests as adults. She also worked in real estate, transforming rundown properties into cherished dwellings. Kris had a gift for seeing the potential in her surroundings and the determination to help bring it out. Kris is survived by her children Marci, David (Bethany), and Joel; her mother Marlene; and her brothers Dan and Phil Georgia and their families. A celebration of life honoring Kris will be held at the Sheboygan eFree Church on Saturday, October 3rd at 1:30 PM. The family invites all who knew her to attend and share their favorite memories.
