A New London Woman was taken into custody on multiple charges after an unsuccessful attempt to elude the law in Fond du Lac County.
Shortly before 3 AM Monday a Wisconsin State Trooper notified the Fond du Lac County Emergency Communications Center of the high-speed pursuit of a southbound, black Ford SUV on I-41 near Van Dyne, and for safety, the chase was terminated and handed over to Fond du Lac County Sheriffs as it approached North Fond du Lac.
The suspect was located near Highway 151 where a stop was unsuccessfully attempted and tire deflation devices took out one of the four tires, but not before speeds had hit 120 mph. After continuing for a short time more, Sheriff’s Deputies and Wisconsin State Patrol Troopers managed a high-risk traffic stop and took into custody a 37-year-old New London woman, who got a check-out at a local hospital before being jailed.
She now faces Fond du Lac County charges of Fleeing and Eluding, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and multiple traffic citations. She was previously wanted on multiple warrants through Milwaukee County and the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
