MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Wisconsin DHS is confirming 2,998 new cases of COVID-19 Friday, just under Thursday’s record-breaking 3,132 cases.
There were also 11,834 negative tests Friday.
Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 144,818 positive cases, 1,518,662 negative tests, and 1,440 deaths after the DHS reports 16 new COVID-19 deaths Friday.
The DHS considers 113,596 patients to have recovered from COVID-19, while there are still 26,774 active cases.
According to DHS, as of Thursday, 1,852 hospital beds in the state were available out of 11,482.
