Jean (Braun) Stichert entered the arms of her Lord on August 31, 2026.
Jean was born October 20, 1941, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, to Herbert and Martha Braun. She was joined with Robert Stichert in holy matrimony on June 1, 1963, at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church.
She attended Sheboygan Area Teachers College and spent many years as a teacher. Later in life, she spent years working at Maple Lanes. Jean was the secretary of many local sports leagues and ran several local tournaments.
Jean was an avid bowler and was inducted into the Sheboygan County Bowling Hall of Fame. She loved her family and was a mother to all. She loved camping, playing cards, and watching her grandchildren at various tournaments, recitals, concerts, and ceremonies.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her daughter, Kelly Reinemann; her parents, Herbert and Martha Braun, her brother Herbert Braun, sister Elaine Reimer, twin sister Joan Klebs, and brother Roger Braun. Jean is survived by her children, Kevin Stichert, Michele (Mike) Block, and Tracy Lund; and her grandchildren, Sean (Maggie) Reinemann, Taryn (Brad) Dupuy, Jordan Reinemann, Madeline Block, Camryn Lund, Anthony Stichert, Connor Reinemann, Alex Lund, Miranda Block, and her great-granddaughter Wren Dupuy. She is further survived by her many nieces and nephews that she loved as her own children.
Visitation will be from 11 am – 2 pm and funeral services will follow at 2 pm. These will both take place at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 2104 Geele Ave, Sheboygan on Saturday, September 5, 2026, with Pastor Kristen Berglund officiating. Jean kindly requests that guests not wear black at her service and wishes for everyone to be in colorful clothing instead.
