Tens of thousands of area students will enjoy one last weekend of summer before classes resume next week.
Nearly all public school districts in Sheboygan County will begin their classes on Tuesday, September 1st. Those include the Sheboygan Area School District along with Sheboygan Falls, Plymouth, Random Lake, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, Howards Grove, Kohler, and Cedar Grove-Belgium, while the Oostburg District begins classes a day earlier, on Monday, August 31.
Motorists are asked to exercise extra caution as sidewalks and crosswalks will be busy during the morning and afternoon commutes, and drivers are reminded that they must stop for any school bus displaying flashing red lights, and remain stopped until they turn off and the bus resumes its travel.
