Susan Ann Hansmann, age 72, of Sheboygan passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, August 24, 2026.
She was born in Sheboygan on April 10, 1954, to the late Henry and Ethel (Rumpff) Hansmann. She graduated from North High School and went on to earn her associates degree from LTC. Susan was employed at Ley’s Department Store in Plymouth, then Murphy’s in Illinois and retired as a supervisor from Rockline Industries. She had a heart of a servant and was a faithful member of Luther Memorial Church.
Susan enjoyed traveling around the United States and playing Sheepshead with her family. One of her hobbies was collecting Christmas ornaments. She was an animal lover, having many over the years.
Susan is survived by her siblings, Bert (Jinalle) Hansmann, Edward (Fran) Hansmann and Henry (Cindy) Hansmann; a sister-in-law, Tammi Kluth nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Edith (Joe) McPherson and Daniel Hansmann.
A time of visitation for Susan will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Luther Memorial Church, 1127 Eisner Ave. in Sheboygan. A brief service will follow the visitation. Susan will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Plymouth.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Susan’s name.
