The Sheboygan Water Utility said that it has to shut off the water supply to a section of the city today so that work on a water main can be completed. The shutdown will take place between 8 AM and around 3 PM, and will affect those living along Wilgus Avenue between Taylor Park and Erie Avenue, North Evans Street southward from Erie, and Erie Avenue between North 25th and Kohler Memorial Drive.
Those affected should have found a door hanger or received a phone call announcing the interruption. The City said that the work will be completed as quickly as possible, but did advise that times are approximate.
