If you know of something that qualifies as the “Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin”, then Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce wants to hear from you. The 2026 contest to find that one coolest thing is now in its 11th year of the popular public voting competition, and is the first year of a new partnership with BMO which joins as the contest’s presenting partner.
WMC was the first organization in the US to launch a “Coolest” contest to highlight the manufacturing sector, and now 26 state chambers and manufacturing organizations have copied the program for their own members.
As of today, manufacturers and members of the public can submit nominations at www.madeinwis.com, and any product that’s manufactured in Wisconsin qualifies for the contest, regardless of company size.
Following the nomination period, a popular vote will determine the Top 16 bracket in the Manufacturing Madness tournament. After narrowing the field in weekly voting, the winner will be crowned at WMC’s Business Day event in Madison on October 27th.
