Rainfall exceeding one inch in Sheboygan County during Thursday’s stormy weather is making its way into rivers and streams and could cause some problems in nearby flood-prone areas.
The gauge at Esslingen Park was at 4.8 feet at 4 AM Friday, and is expected to crest at 6.2 feet early Saturday morning. That’s likely to cause minor lowland flooding and could cover some marina docks and piers in Sheboygan. Those levels are expected to be short-lived with waters quickly receding over the weekend.
