An spring storm system has evolved in a way that now puts Sheboygan County and those to our west and south under the risk of tornadoes; a risk that was earlier believed would stay to our south.
Forecasters now project a low pressure center to track from Platteville to Fond du Lac late this afternoon and evening, putting wind shear, moisture, and cold air in the kind of combination that tornadoes feed upon.
The Tornado Watch will be in effect until 8 PM tonight for Sheboygan, Fond du Lac, Washington, Ozaukee, Columbia, Dane, Iowa, Dodge, Jefferson, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Racine,, and Waukesha Counties.
