The National Weather Service says that thunderstorms generated by the latest system become an increasing threat this afternoon and peak around 7 PM, with high winds the most likely culprit behind any damage. The risk of tornadoes is highest in the southern tier of counties west of Racine and Kenosha where a Tornado Watch was issued until 8 this evening.

Over 3/4 of an inch of rain had already been measured at the Sheboygan County Airport, and another 2/3 of an inch could still result from pending storms. But the threat of significant storms should mostly be done by midnight, and Good Friday looks to be partly sunny, cool and dry with a return of rain expected on Saturday.
