A Sheboygan area woman is recovering in a hospital on the Caribbean island of Aruba.
Jessica Burhop was vacationing in March when she suffered two pulmonary embolisms…serious, life-threatening conditions that required immediate surgery and care. Jessica was hospitalized for several days and released, but is unable to return until cleared medically for travel, and that could take weeks.
While her insurance provider has confirmed that they will be able to cover medical costs, the stay until she can return continues to be a concern, and a GoFundMe page was founded.
