James M. Kinate, 64, passed away unexpectedly from a cardiac event.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Platteville, James pursued sports broadcasting but found joy in many paths. He had a lifelong passion for weather, worked as a machine operator – production worker, and was a devoted, unofficial coach– “talent scout” for the Green Bay Packers.
James was known for his integrity, honesty, and earnest nature, along with a sharp sense of humor, logical mind, and gift for listening. Above all, he deeply loved his family.
He is survived by his wife, Judie; his son, Tony; and his sister, Kathryn (Mike) Susen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Elizabeth Kinate; his brother, Steve; and his uncle, Dick (Lee) Walford.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday, April 9, from 5–7 PM at Pine Hills Country Club – East Entrance, 4914 Superior Ave., Sheboygan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
His steady presence, quiet wisdom, and love will remain with those who knew him always.
