There’s some good-ish news from the pumps…gas prices in Wisconsin are staying below the national average.
Triple-A reports the average price for a gallon of regular was $3.73 cents a gallon as of yesterday morning. While drivers in our state are paying nearly a quarter less than the national average, here in Sheboygan we’re still paying nearly a quarter more than we did last week with the average price for regular gas at 3.63 a gallon — and that’s 60 cents more a gallon since this time last year.
It’s worth noting that we’re still well below the highest gas prices recorded, which was $4.84 a gallon back in June of 2022.
