Swift response by the Fond Du Lac Police department is being credited for saving the life of a woman last week.
Police say they received a call regarding a possible stabbing in that city. Once on scene, police heard screams from the residence and quickly forced their way into the home where they located both the victim and the suspect. Police provided emergency medical aid until paramedics arrived and transported the victim to the hospital for further treatment. Meanwhile, the suspect, who was identified as the 24 year old son of the victim, was taken into custody and transported to the Fond Du Lac County jail.
