Judith L. Brown, 89, of Sheboygan, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, at Sheboygan Progressive Health Services. Judi was born to Ruth and Harold Halverson on November 26, 1936, in Black River Falls, Wisconsin.
Judi met Kenneth Brown in 1955, and they were married 34 years. They had four children. Judi was very active supporting Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. She was also a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Sheboygan. She loved the creative arts, drawing, painting, sewing, and crafting. She also loved golfing, square dancing, and wintering in Texas. She is survived by her children Ruthann and Jay Smith of Wales, Wisconsin, Mark and Kathy (Halverson) Brown of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Mark Coleman of Ames, Iowa and Laura (Jeff) Montgomery of Duncombe, Iowa. She has 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of life in Wisconsin and burial in Fort Dodge at a later date.
Judi was preceded in death by Kenneth, her daughter Bonita Coleman, and her later life partner Harlan (Lanny) Fouts.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sharon S. Richardson Hospice Community in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
