With temperatures hovering near the freezing mark, an area of light precipitation overnight may have left some area roadways slippery this morning. The area of light rain and freezing rain was already exiting the area around 3 AM leaving drier air in its wake. And while it was very light, any frozen surfaces could have been glazed.
511 Wisconsin’s road map showed good conditions here, but Manitowoc and Calumet Counties had partially-covered roadways after the rain moved through.
Clouds and dry weather will now dominate until Saturday with high temperatures improving from around 40 today, to near 50 with partial sun on Saturday. A very normal temperature and precipitation pattern then takes over through at least Wednesday next week.
