Howards Grove High School rose to the tops of two categories in the Menomonie Regional Skills USA Competition at UW-Wisconsin/Menomonie last Thursday and Friday.
Shalia Randal took first place in the “Facilithon”, which tests the ability to thrive in a facility management environment.
A Team Engineering Challenge first-place was also secured by the Tiger team in an evaluation of creative and critical thinking skills and the decision-making process used to solve a problem.
All who placed in first, second or third place in the regional competition are eligible to compete in the 53rd annual Wisconsin SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Conference in Madison April 7-8.
