A quick round of snow is forecast today by the National Weather Service. While the event should last only 2-4 hours and put down between a half and one inch of snow, the afternoon and evening commutes could become slippery in the Sheboygan area.
The snow is expected to be wet & packable – good for snowmen but not for drivers – and with temperatures falling from the mid 30s to below freezing, the slick conditions could last after the snow is done, and winds near 20 MPH and gusting to almost 35 could further hamper drivers. If you are traveling anywhere in Wisconsin you’re likely to be affected, but the least snow should be south of I-94.
Skies should clear up overnight, setting the stage for a cold, breezy Wednesday with highs in the 20s.
