Karin M. Larson, 62, of Sheboygan, passed away Saturday morning, February 21, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family.
Born July 2, 1963 in Milwaukee, Karin was a daughter of the late Larry and Ann Murray Larson.
Karin grew-up in Menomonee Falls, graduating from “Falls” North High School in 1981. Karin began her love of cooking in her grandmother’s kitchen and furthered that love as a cook at The Black Kettle restaurant in Milwaukee. Karin later received her associate’s degree from MATC and became a surgical assistant and worked at St. Joseph Hospital and St. Michaels Hospital in Milwaukee for many years then finished her employment career both cooking and caregiving at the Bay at Elkhart until 2024. Karin was an avid reader and enjoyed playing bingo and cards with friends. While living in West Allis, Karin volunteered her time to the West Allis Charities (Western Days) and PBS (Channel 10) fundraising auctions. As always, Karin arrived at any charity or family event with delicious foods lovingly prepared at home.
Karin’s greatest joy was spending time with family – especially during annual camping trips in the Chequamagon National Forest. Karin and her extended family took over what seemed like half of the campground and during these events, the lake and woods echoed with booming laughter and squeals of happiness.
