It is with heavy yet full hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth Jay Lisberg. He passed away peacefully at home on February 18, 2026. Ken was a loving, devoted and outstanding husband, father, grandfather and friend, and we will always carry a part of him with us.
Born in Milwaukee, and having lived most of his life in Wisconsin, Ken was an accomplished surgeon, an avid reader, world traveler, and lover of sailing and naval history. His skilled hands, in addition to saving many lives, built the most beautiful wooden ship models. He found a good road trip to be irresistible and explored the entirety of Route 66 over the years. His legendary sense of humor, endless curiosity and love of music and film are among only a few of the amazing qualities that we are grateful to have known him for. The list of his interests and accomplishments really are too numerous to encompass here.
Celebrating his life are his wife Deborah, daughter Rebecca, son Joe, and grandchildren Marina and George. Our lives are immeasurably richer having known and loved Ken and we will endeavor to live an equally inspired life. It is with love and gratitude that we will always remember him.
A private service will be held for the immediate family. In lieu of sending flowers please consider planting a tree in his honor through www.olsonfuneralhome.info/obituaries/kenneth-lisberg.
