The Sheboygan County Division of Public Health said in its latest newsletter on Friday that flu and respiratory illnesses are making their annual appearance within the county’s population. Influenza and RSV activity were both measured as “Moderate”, while COVID-19 activity was “Low”.
The DPH reiterated the well-known preventative measures such as keeping up with recommended immunizations, as well as hand-washing, avoiding touching the face, nose, mouth and eyes as effective in limiting the risk of contracting respiratory illnesses.
