Pedro V. Cardenas, 75, of Sheboygan, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls, with his family by his side. He was born on July 14, 1950, in Brownsville, TX to the late Tiberio and Gaudalupe V. Cardenas, he was one of thirteen children.
On August 28, 1976, he was united in marriage to Linda L. Behr at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sheboygan Falls. She preceded him in death on August 6, 2009.
Pedro has a strong faith and was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Sheboygan.
Pedro worked as a welder for many years in the Shipyards in Sturgeon Bay as well as at various other places.
Family was very important to him. He loved spending time with them fishing, hunting, grilling out and having bonfires. He had a passion for remodeling, if he wasn’t working on a project at his home, you could find him at one of his children’s homes working on something. He also enjoyed thrifting and going to garage sales.
Pedro is survived by his special friend Veronica Hernandez, three daughters; Shannon (Robert) Pfister of Sheboygan, Dawn (Daniel) Flores of IN, Lindsay (Derek) Cardenas of Sheboygan, two sons; Pedro (Jessica) Cardenas of Sheboygan and Andres (Kylie) Cardenas of Manitowoc, by twenty-four grandchildren; Angela, Jordan, Lacey, Willow, Madelynn “Blondie”, Anastacia, Ivelisse, Valencia, Amayah, Ben, Daisy, and Josh, Alex and Xavier, Harrison and Georgie, Esperanza and Alicia, Sebastian, Bridgette, Roman, Carmen, Sophia, and Olivia, by seventeen great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Linda, and siblings.
A private family burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Plymouth.
