The Wisconsin Professional Golfers’ Association has named Blackwolf Run’s Dan Hastreiter as the state’s Golf Professional of the Year for 2026. Hastreiter will be recognized during the WPGA Special Awards Dinner in Wisconsin Dells on February 23rd. 11 other golf pros from around the state will also be honored. Notable among those are Kayley Sjoholm of Blue Mound Golf & Country Club and Kristyn Crippen-Weatherhead of Erin Hills, marking the first time two female pros have been awarded in the same year.
Hastreiter is the PGA Assistant General Manager and Head Professional at Blackwolf Run. This is Hastreiter’s second WPGA special award, earning his first in 2018 as Assistant Pro of the Year.
