A round of light snow moved through the area overnight, leaving roads in varying condition. While Wisconsin’s 511 road map showed partially-covered roads and a few slow-downs in the area, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office said there were few incidents to report and no widespread problems.
The Wisconsin DOT indicated slower travel spots scattered along I-43 and Highway 23 early this morning, but otherwise highway speeds were near normal. But that’s not likely to last, as another system with more potential is anticipated overnight, and a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 6 tonight until 6 tomorrow morning for a possible 2-4 inch snowfall away from the lake with lesser amounts right along the shore.
