Sara Espinoza, 80, of Sheboygan, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee. She was born on May 2, 1945, in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico to the late Salomon and Petra (Salazar) Espinoza.
Sara was the owner of El Durango Mexican Store in Sheboygan for many years. She had a strong faith and was a member of St. Clement Catholic Parish in Sheboygan.
Family was the most important thing in Sara’s life. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren creating lasting and cherished memories.
She was an amazing cook and loved cooking for her family. In her spare time, she liked to go shopping and tending her garden.
Sara is survived by her children; Antonio Salazar, Yolanda Escareno, Rosa Escareno, Juan Escareno, Irma Escareno and Lidia Escareno, twenty-two grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, brother Roguelio Espinoza, sister Tina Espinoza and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Chano Espinoza.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Ave., Sheboygan, with Fr. Dennis Beltre officiating. Burial will follow at Wildwood Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the FUNERAL HOME.
