Pauline Jean Huibregtse, 83, of Oostburg, WI passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at LakeHouse Sheboygan, WI.
Pauline was born on October 8, 1942 to Peter and Catherine (Gerlach) Klein in Milwaukee, WI.
She graduated from Random Lake High School in 1961 and went on to attend Accredited School of Beauty Culture and LaSalle College.
Pauline was united in marriage to her beloved husband Wayne Huibregtse on July 10, 1981 in Waukegan, IL. Together they had one child, Mark (Rebecca). Previously, on October 20, 1962 she was married to her former husband Ronald Steffen in Cascade, WI. Together they had two children, Christine (Antonio) and Michele (Travis). Pauline has honored all family connections.
Pauline Homeschooled son Mark from 6th grade until 12th, he went on to become a successful Engineer at Kohler Co. She helped start a thriving real estate business with her husband and managed the books from 1980 until current. She served for 5 years as Tiger Cub Scout Den Leader in Oostburg, WI. Pauline enjoyed attending car shows with Wayne and traveling, especially to Alaska, Hawaii, and South America.
Pauline is survived by her husband, Wayne; three children: Christine (Antonio) Zepeda, Michele (Travis) Millner, Mark (Rebecca) Huibregtse; three step daughters: Debra (John) Halbach, Christine (Mark) Boehlke, Susan Ziebelman; twelve grandchildren: Nohemi (Zepeda) Sanchez, Jasmin Zepeda, Isabella Steffen, Mabel, Zoe, Nigel, Ethan, Quentin, Trenton, Milena, Theodore, and Ransom Huibregtse; two great-grandchildren; seven step grandchildren: Amanda, Joshua, Katelyn, Allyson, Johnathan, Lauryn, Kara; and step great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings, Marie, Janice, Dennis and Keith; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Peter, Earl, and Eunice.
A funeral service to celebrate Pauline’s life will be held at Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg, WI on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 12:00 pm and will be livestreamed for those who cannot attend on Wenig Funeral Home website. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 am until the service. She will be laid to rest at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery at a later date.
