The person who went missing on Saturday morning and became the subject of a statewide Silver Alert has been located deceased.
Todd Janssen disappeared Saturday morning and was last reported to have been given a cab ride to an area south of Highway 28 near Sheboygan Falls. His remains were found at approximately 11 AM on Thursday, however no information about the location was offered. However, the role of the Wisconsin DNR in locating Mr. Janssen’s remains was called “instrumental.”
While the cause and manner of death are currently under investigation, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office said that there is no indication of suspicious circumstances, and there is no threat to the public safety.
The Sheriff expressed gratitude to the community, volunteers and media partners for the assistance in the search efforts.
