Bright, colored lights and new-fallen snow aside, other signs of the holidays are showing up everywhere in Sheboygan County.
“Holiday Memories” at the Sheboygan County Museum offers various activities and visits from Santa. This Saturday is “Community Day” at the museum, and on that day only admission will be free. Holiday Memories runs through December 30th.
Kohler-Andrae State Park’s “Cabin Fever” series is coming up on December 20th. There’ll be multiple educational events and workshops beginning at 11 AM and running until 3 PM. Among them are ornament crafting; naturalist Kim Drost will be “Talking Turkey” on all things turkey-related, and you can explore the park with a “Walk on the Wild Side” through the iconic beach and dunes, looking for winter wildlife.
Also, the 2025 Old World Christmas Market opens this Friday at the Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake. The market, open daily through December 14th from 10 AM until 5 PM, is a festival of decor, crafts, old-world food and beverages and a unique holiday experience. Admission is $8, children 14 and under are admitted free with a paid adult.
