2025 has been the 37th driest out of the past 131 years of record-keeping around here, and after October came in at the 40th driest on record, Sheboygan County is experiencing abnormally dry and drought conditions for a second consecutive week. The dividing line between dry in the southern third and drought to the north goes from about Oostburg to Butler Lake.
Sheboygan County has gotten only between a quarter and one-half of normal precipitation over the past 60 days. However, forecasters are optimistic that the drought classification will be removed within the next month.
