A man was severely injured on Saturday when he fell from a barn roof he was working on. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office got the 911 call just after 3 PM Saturday after a 38-year-old man patching a hole in the roof of his cow barn fell through the roof, landing on concrete about 20 feet below. The man suffered severe facial injuries in the fall, requiring transportation by Flight for Life helicopter ambulance.
Highway 49 was closed in the vicinity for about 20 minutes in order to establish a landing zone, and the man was flown to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah for treatment of serious injuries.
