Drought has returned to the Sheboygan area according to the latest analysis by NOAA and the National Integrated Drought Information System. A Thursday release from the agencies says that the latest seasonal drought outlook for November 20, 2025 through February 28, 2026 shows that much of Sheboygan County is currently experiencing a “Moderate Drought”, and these conditions are expected to persist over the next 3 months.
Moderate drought occurs over approximately 65% of Sheboygan County, mostly in the northern portion, while the remaining southern portion is in an “Abnormally Dry” condition as of November 20th.
Most of Sheboygan County has received less than 50% of normal precipitation over the past 60 days, and there are no indications that relief is in sight in the short term.
