The Manitowoc County Drug Unit has announced the successful completion of a coordinated drug interdiction operation completed on November 12th. The effort involved the Manitowoc County Metro Drug Unit, the /Wisconsin State Patrol, the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office,the Manitowoc Police Department, and the Two Rivers Police Department.
The operation focused on identifying and disrupting drug trafficking activity within Manitowoc County, and during the operation, four police K-9 teams were deployed, and officers conducted 18 vehicle stops. As a result, law enforcement seized:
2.32 grams of Heroin
185.32 grams, or over 6-1/2 ounces, of Methamphetamine
34.28 grams of Cocaine
71.98 grams of THC
24.64 grams of Psilocybin mushrooms
Four Firearms
One Knife
111 Rounds of Ammunition
Various Items of Drug Paraphernalia
Information derived from the operation also resulted in the execution of a drug-related search warrant in the City of Two Rivers.
