Sheboygan Police Department
Rumors of raids by agents from Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Sheboygan are not factual and are being refuted by the Sheboygan Police Department according to a Friday afternoon release.
The SPD went on record that the department did assist members of the US Marshals Service and the Eastern Wisconsin Violent Fugitive Task Force in locating and apprehending an Illinois native wanted on a federal criminal warrant for the delivery of Fentanyl. That action appears to have prompted rumors of an ICE raid.
The SPD asserted that such rumors are inaccurate, and they are encouraging the community to rely on verified information from official sources in order to avoid unnecessary fear and concern.
