With only a few details remaining to be completed, drivers will still encounter “Road Closed” signs on the northern segment of the Highway 32 reconstruction project in Sheboygan County.
Although some barriers have been removed, through traffic is still being detoured around the stretch between Highway “V” and Sheboygan Falls. According to the Wisconsin DOT, only pavement markings remain to be completed this week, and work looks to satisfy the original end-date of Friday, October 31st.
The project, nearly 10 miles in length with a price tag of $5.1 million, added four box culverts and installed eight culvert crossings, improved curb ramps in the village of Cedar Grove to ADA standards, and upgraded guardrails throughout.
