With bragging rights on the line – thanks to Jolly Good Soda of Random Lake, the “Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin” in 2025 – Sheboygan County’s claim to the place where really cool things originate is again on the line.
Last year, the “Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin” was officially recognized as “Jolly Good Soda” of Random Lake. The “Coolest Thing” is an annual contest conducted by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation in partnership with the Johnson Bank Financial Group, and through an annual popular vote, determines which Badger-based product qualifies as the most, the ultimate, the coolest thing…made in Wisconsin. The current field has been reduced to the Top 16 from 148 nominees.
Among the sixteen initial survivors are the #1 seed, Carbliss of Plymouth, a spectacular nationwide performer among its category of pre-mixed cocktails, as well as the #11 seed, Sargento Natural American Sliced Cheese from Sargento of Plymouth.
Public voting for the “Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin” is hosted on the Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce website at madeinwis.com, and the next round of matchups will be announced on Wednesday, October 8th.
