The demolition date for a former hotel and restaurant in downtown Sheboygan has been set. On October 6th, crews will begin tearing down the former Sheboygan Inn and Fountain Park Restaurant, clearing the lot for the new Marriott Spring Garden Inn, developed by Waterside Hospitality LLC. The finished project will boast a 104-room hotel, rooftop restaurant, and a first-floor distillery.
Sheboygan Director of Planning and Development, Taylor Zeinert, said that the demolition “marks the next step in turning our vision for a more vibrant and dynamic downtown into reality.”
Construction on the new hotel is expected to begin this upcoming spring, with opening anticipated by September of 2027.
