Everyone in a school bus that was struck by a car this Tuesday morning escaped without injury. The bus, carrying about a dozen children, was on Fond du Lac County Highway W about four miles north of Mount Calvary just after 7 AM when a 56-year-old Malone woman driving eastbound claimed she was blinded by the rising sun and didn’t see the bus. She suffered minor injuries and was transported for treatment.
Preliminary investigation shows the warning lights and stop arm on the bus were activated at the time. The investigation is still underway by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office.
