One person has died from injuries sustained in a Friday afternoon crash near Plymouth.
Preliminary investigation by the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office has determined that a vehicle being driven west on Highway 23 by an 82-year-old Elkhart Lake woman failed to yield to an eastbound vehicle when attempting to turn left onto Pleasant View Road at 3:47 PM on Friday. The collision with that vehicle caused only minor injuries to the eastbound driver, a 45-year-old Greenbush man, but the driver in the other vehicle, Susan Gould, and her 80-year-old passenger, identified as Stephen A. Gould of Elkhart Lake, sustained more serious injuries. The two were transported for treatment and Stephen later died of his injuries. The driver, Susan, is hospitalized with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation by the Sheriff’s Office is still ongoing.
