Two motorcyclists who were involved in a fatal crash in Manitowoc County last Friday night have been identified. The two were 54-year-old Tobin Rueckl of De Pere, and 30-year-old Cody Zahn of Brillion.
Both were traveling northbound on Manitowoc County Highway “G” shortly before 8:30 PM Friday when Tobin apparently lost control of his Harley, causing Zahn to also lose control. Tobin suffered fatal injuries in the crash and Zahn was transported to an area hospital for treatment of significant injuries.
Neither was wearing a helmet, and the Manitowoc County Sheriff said that alcohol and speed were apparently factors in the crash.
