Three people were injured – one seriously – in a three-vehicle crash in the Town of Taycheedah on Thursday evening.
The site, northeast of the City of Fond du Lac, was at the intersection of Golf Course Drive and Highway 151 where a 39-year-old Fond du Lac woman was stopped in her SUV awaiting a left turn to Golf Course Drive. She was struck from behind by a box truck operated by a 36-year-old Green Bay man. The impact forced the woman’s car into the southbound lane where it was struck head-on by another SUV, driven by a 55-year-old Fond du Lac man.
The two men were transported to hospitals for evaluation of their injuries, while the woman was eventually flighted to Froedtert in Milwaukee with serious injuries.
The box truck driver is cooperating with authorities investigating the crash.
