Sheboygan County is host to one of the best waterfront resorts for families in the nation. The Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake said that it was awarded the number-1 position among America’s Top Waterfront Resorts for Families by Family Vacationist and published in the USA Today’s July 5th issue.
The Osthoff, now in its 27th consecutive year earning the prestigious AAA Four Diamond Rating, was praised for the quality of Elkhart Lake itself, as well as the resort’s offerings of three pools, a lakeside fire pit, multiple restaurants, kids activity program, cooking school, lake deck, live music, and elegant ballrooms and meeting venues.
Osthoff General Manager, John Steffes, said that they were pleased with being called “Number-1”, something he said reflects the Osthoff’s commitment to creating lasting memories for families, combining the natural beauty of Elkhart Lake with quality amenities and most importantly, genuine Wisconsin hospitality.
