Geraldine “Gerri” Audrey (Wutkiewicz) Daniels passed away peacefully at Hospice of Hope in Fond du Lac, WI on June 20th surrounded by her loving family.
Gerri was born January 5, 1938, to John and Marie (Sobczak) Wutkiewicz. She attended schools in Weyerhaeuser WI, and Minneapolis. After high school she attended Stockman Beauty School and became a licensed beautician.
Gerri married Marvin Daniels on November 10, 1956 at St Peter and Paul Catholic church in Weyerhaeuser, WI. They moved to Plymouth in 1965. Marvin preceded her in death on February 5, 2017. She had office jobs over the years and the last one was selling real estate. She was a member of the Shepard of the Hills Parish. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking, and fishing. Gerri often bragged about winning the family contest of the “first fish” or the “biggest fish”.

Her grandchildren; Aaron (Emily) Burkart Fond du Lac, WI. Lisa (Teague) Martis, Onalaska, WI. Stephanie (Zach) Lee, Plymouth WI. Adam (Meghan) Jahnke, Landrum, SC. Grant Jahnke Atlanta, GA. Tyler Rhodes, Bakersfield, CA. Keaton (Clare) Horvat, LaGrange, KY. Austin Horvat, New Albany, IN. Her great grandchildren; Oliver, Henry, and Louie Burkart, Fond du Lac, WI. Noah, Anna, and Isaiah Martis, Onalaska, WI. George, Fred, and Martin Lee, Plymouth, WI. Elizabeth Fincher, Josette, Burke, and Nora Jahnke of Landrum, SC. Colton Jahnke, Sheboygan, WI. Jayden Rhodes, Bakersfield, CA. Ellie, Lincoln, and Anastasia Horvat, LaGrange, KY. And good friend Richard Henson, Fond du Lac, Wi. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Gigi Wutkiewicz, Deland, FL and Shirley Kaas, Sheboygan Falls, WI. Brothers-in law Frank Olesiak, Weyerhaeuser, WI. Rodney (Karen) Daniels, Bloomington, MN. Bernard (Gladys) Daniels, Cameron, WI. She is survived by many other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin, parents John and Marie Wutkiewicz, deceased siblings Ruth Hablinski, Richard (Evelyn) Wangsness, Dean Wutkiewicz, Janice Olesiak and Jenny Kaminski. Brothers-in-law Ed Rogowski, Tom Kaminski, Elmer Kaas, son-in-law Hank Jahnke and nieces Patrica Loftus, Teresa Newman and Sandi Rexroade.
Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church in Eden, Wisconsin. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM until the time of mass at noon. Father Mark Jones will officiate. Cremation will take place following the services.
