Kathleen S. Grube, age 90, formerly of Sheboygan Falls, passed away peacefully and was reunited with
the love of her life, Wallace, on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.
She was born in Sheboygan on October 5, 1934, to the late William and Martha (Henning) Gruenke. She
graduated from Central High School. On April 18, 1953, Kathleen was united in marriage to Wallace
Grube. He preceded her in death on July 14, 2014, after sharing 61 wonderful years together. They
owned and operated Badger Hatchery Inc. where Kathleen was the secretary/treasurer until selling the
business in 2008. She took great pride in the many friendships that she made with the customers,
retiring in 2014.
Kathleen enjoyed reading, fishing, traveling and watching movies and Packer games. She was a great
story teller and loved spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Paul (Cheryl) Grube, Christine (Michael) Gabrielse and Cindy Christus; a
daughter-in-law, Gail Grube; grandchildren, Karl (Amanda) Grube, Melissa Grube, Daniel Gabrielse,
Douglas (Erica) Gabrielse, Dustin (Allyson) Gabrielse, Timothy (Kayla) Christus, Jeffrey Christus and
Michelle (Tyler Ross) Christus; great-grandchildren, Zoey Grube, Henry Grube, Nolan Christus, Mason
Christus, Winter Gabrielse, Willow Gabrielse and Elyse Gabrielse; nieces, nephews, other family and
friends.
Along with her parents and husband of 61 years, Wallace, Kathleen was preceded in death by her son,
Gregory Grube; a son-in-law, Randall Christus and a sister, Madeline Pohland Loersch.
A Funeral Service for Kathleen will take place at NOON on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Zimmer
Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Rd in Howards Grove. Family will greet
visitors on Wednesday, at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Entombment
will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park. For those who would like to watch Kathleen’s service

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Kathleen’s name.
The family would like to thank the staff at LakeHouse Sheboygan for the care given to Kathleen over the
