Thomas Earl Klover, 64, of Elkhart Lake, WI went home to his heavenly father on April 4, 2025 in his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Thomas was born on June 23rd, 1960 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, a son of the late Wilfred and Mary Klover.
After graduating from Elkhart Lake High School, Thomas set out to Huntington Beach, California, and Copper Mountain, Colorado. Returning home, Thomas married the love of his life, Linae Webb, on October 5, 1985 in Elkhart Lake, and together they shared almost 40 years of marriage.
Thomas had multiple successful career paths, working in sales at Lakeland Sports Center, freelance bartending, Production at Sargento, carpentry for M&S Builders, and Sanitation at Johnsonville. Using his carpentry skills, Thomas, along with the help of family and friends, built his home in Elkhart Lake where he proudly raised his two children Holly and Lucas.
Thomas always lived a fulfilled life, and loved making memories at Road America, Miller Park, Fiserv Forum, and Lambeau Field. He loved taking road trips with his family, traveling to Canada, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, South Carolina, Florida, and Colorado. He loved attending concerts, golfing, morel mushroom picking for the IdleWile Inn, grilling, splitting firewood, fishing and sturgeon spearing, and setting up deer camp at his home with his family. He was extremely involved in his kids’ lives, and loved working on their cars, doing carpentry and home projects together, and making memories with their friends.
Thomas was a small man, with a huge heart and even bigger personality. He was the hardest worker, but never complained. He was extremely generous, always put others first, constantly volunteered in the community, and would always open his home to anyone without ask. He loved cooking for others. He was known for telling stories, making others laugh and smile, and was always the life of the party. He treated everyone he met like family, and made friends everywhere he went.
Survivors include his wife Linae Klover of Elkhart Lake, his two children, Lucas Klover of St. Petersburg, FL, Holly Klover of Sheboygan, and special friend Martin Aviño of Sheboygan. He is also survived by six sisters: Marilyn (Robert) Grim of Plymouth, Theresa Baus of Elkhart Lake, Elaine (Steve) Schuler of New Holstein, Marlene McGinnis of New Holstein, Violet (Richard) Collin of New Holstein, Kathleen Klover of New Holstein, and two brothers: George (Mary) Klover of Sheboygan, and Mike (Debbie) Klover of Sheboygan. He is further survived by his mother-in-law Pearl (Robert) Grundl, brother-in-law Luke (Nita) Webb, brother-in-law Mark (Eileen) Webb, sister-in-law Pam (Phil) Roddy, and his special goddaughter Carrie Collin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by one brother: Lawrence Klover, brothers-in-law: Dr. Richard (Padre) Baus and Scott McGinnis, his parents Wilfred and Mary Klover, father-in-law John Webb, and his beloved dog, Bo.
A Catholic mass will be celebrated on Friday, (April 11th) at 5 pm at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Elkhart Lake. Father Subi Thomas, Pastor of the Church will officiate. Visitation will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Elkhart Lake on Friday (April 11th) from 3-5 pm until the time of mass.
The family would also like to give a special thank you to our close friends, Steve (Monica) Lieffring, Jed (Maddie) Hersey, Steve (Lisa) Gross, and Elyse Buchholz and his friends at Johnsonville Foods for their unwavering support and generosity. They would also like to thank the nurses at Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic for their love and compassion.
