Albert Stalter, age 95, of Sheboygan passed away peacefully on Thursday May 29,
2025, at the Sharon S, Richardson Community Hospice. He was born in Sheboygan on
October 21,1929 to the late William and Martha (Schulty) Stalter. Albert was the
youngest of ten children. He attended Holy Name grade school and graduated from
North High School where he played some baseball and football. Albert went into
military service with the Army and was stationed in Korea from 1951-1953. After his
honorable discharge, he returned to Sheboygan and went to work at the Vollrath
company, retiring after 27 years. He was a lifelong member of Holy Name Church. He
enjoyed a breakfast club with friends after retirement. Albert grew up hunting and
fishing, and became a fan of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents and all his brothers and sisters – Emily
Meissner, Martha Winkel, Mary Stalter, John Stalter, Anna Folz, Frieda Glazer, Clara
Lauer, Raymond Stalter and William Stalter. Also, nephews and nieces: Donald Folz,
LaVern Stanish, Mary Ann Sommersberger, Margie Kilbury, Robert Lauer, Ann
Levindowski and Arlen Underhill.
He is survived by nieces and nephews: Beverly Reynolds, John Stalter Jr., Leroy
Stalter, Janice Martens, William Stalter Jr., Sandy Garridan, Florence Petrokowski,
Yvonne Meisner and Shirley Meisner.
Family and friends may gather at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 818 Huron Ave.
Sheboygan on Thursday June 5, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00
a.m.
Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery.
We want to thank the staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice and
LakeHouse Senior Living for their care. Albert made many friends with the staff and
residents.
